Jubilee - Theatre Triple Bill

This theatre Triple Bill united three of the Suburb's different dramatic groups in honour of the HGS Jubilee in 1957. The Speedwell Players performed Noel Coward's Still Life, Pantoplayers put on the member written Hubbub on the Suburb and the Play and Pageant Union presented A Phoenix Too Frequent.

Suburb Archives

The Hampstead Garden Suburb Archives Trust is a registered charity, known as Suburb Archives. It is responsible for ensuring that the archives of the suburb are properly cared for and are accessible to all.

Play And Pageant Union

Formed after World War I in 1920 after uniting the Pageant Committee with the indoor dramatic activities of the Suburb, it eventually merged with the Speedwell Players in 1966 to form the Garden Suburb Theatre which is still active now.

Institute

Opened in 1909 by Hernietta Barnett the Institute has been at the heart of the Suburb Community for over a century. Dame Henritta believed in the transformative social powers of education and an adult education provider such as The Institute.
