Three objects on display at the launch of HGS Heritage Virtual Museum 29th October 2017

 
At the launch of the HGS Heritage Virtual Museum on 29th October 2017 three objects were physically on display while their representation in the museum was demonstrated to the audience. The objects were:

  • One of two three metre by one metre painted panoramas, depicting the Suburb around 1924, discovered in 2017.
     
  • The Newlyn Pot, presented to the Horticultural Society by Dame Henrietta Barnett in 1928.
     
  • The trowel used by Dame Henrietta Barnett to lay the Free Church foundation stone in 1911.
